Howdy!!

Now let’s go over some of the benefits of training. There are so many, so I will just go over my favorites for now.

Besides looking good, getting healthy and strengthening, working out reduces stress and depression big time. I’d almost have to say it cures it. I have fought depression and anxiety all my life. I still fight it today. That is one of the reasons I stay training. In the last year and a half, I have not needed any medication for anxiety. My working out reduces anxiety and depression from spiraling up in me. Anxiety and Depression are what a lot of us have had growing up from childhood. It’s a chemical imbalance.

Intense exercising releases serotonin, endorphins, dopamine levels in our brains, known as simple mood stabilizers. So, even the ones who don’t have depression, exercising releases these levels in our bodies. Which in turn, stimulates the mind. My favorite aspect of working out. Oh yes, I can plan my whole week, while working out, cause my mind is just racing!! I love it! Racing with only healthy, strong, sharper thinking. Amazing really. I can actually think more clearly about everything when working out. I’m motivated, all-of-a-sudden.

So, it’s a great tool for down kinda feelings we sometimes have. Especially now, in the holiday season, fall and winter season. We all know, 'tis the season of shorter days with not a lot of sun, snow, rain, gloom, cold weather, harvest season, just kind of slows us down a little. Dampens our spirits a little.

So, let me expand on this, by saying, this is the time to prepare and plant for this time next year. Ha! Use this time to start your harvest for next year people. Get a jump on it now. Be that cutting edge above everyone else. Make lemonade out of lemons people. This is a great chance for you to “hide-out” in your “gym-cave” and muscle up. Surprise everyone with your new physique next spring.

I’m just saying, winter is hard on us. Might as well use this time to stay afloat, because holidays can be overwhelming for some. For some, it can be a lonely time for those who can’t be with a certain person or family members. During the winter, some of us scan slip back into bad behaviors or start bad habits. Some of us will eat more for comfort. Excessive alcohol drinking may come into play. So, let’s be aware of this, and attack these behaviors this winter, by training.

Another benefit is “discipline”. I love the hard work that goes into training. I love it! It builds determination, endurance, stamina and “personal drive”. It build’s stronger work ethic in all areas of our life. We are living in a depleting society now, so we need to be physically and mentally prepared for the “war” that we seem to face in our daily lives.

Discipline just gives you a sense of worth and accomplishment. It will open up great self-esteem, confidence, a sharper mind. Keeps you at the “cutting edge” above your counterparts. So, use this benefit for your well-being.

Other benefits, such as “stress reliever” is probably one of my favorites too, because like I mentioned before, I have anxiety and depression. When I’m done working out, I’m as calm as a “new born baby boy”. I sleep just like a baby at night. Working-out is the remedy for stress folks. I can’t say it enough. If you feel sluggish at home or at your job, go exercise. Exercise actually gives you time-released energy throughout your days. Sounds strange that hard training energizes you, but it does. It merely spikes energy levels by strengthening the circulation and the heart muscle and in return improves energy levels in our bodies. Cool huh!?

Of course, proper nutrition and “fueling” your workouts with some sort of supplements (pre-workout) comes into play here. I will discuss that later. So, besides working out for looks, or better health, or rehabbing, there are so many benefits of training.

And you know what? You don’t have to workout as much as you think you do. Just be consistent, and intense when you do workout. I will share with you later, on making exercising and training, a lifestyle, by not overwhelming yourself with too much of it.

You can fit good quality workouts in your busy schedule with ease. I can show you how to do that.

Meanwhile, read up on benefits of working out. I mean we can go down the list right? It helps joint pain, weak joints, strengthens and conditions your body for sports or recreation, age, keeps you out of doctors and hospitals, as much anyway, digest your food better, speeds up metabolism, builds your heart muscle, helps with injuries, and on and on.

Okay, until next time, think on “staying fit”. Your life really depends on it.
